MARGAO: Velim locals have complained of frequent power fluctuations since last week. Locals said there is no power supply from around 12.30 pm to 1.20 pm and there have been fluctuations during other times of the day.
They said that those who have offices and shops across Velim constituency are suffering from forced delays as they are unable to access computers and other electronic equipment because of the power outages.
Sources said some repair works are underway on the main 33 KV line. Electricity department officials acknowledged having received the complaints and said the matter should be sorted out shortly.
