VARCA: Nuvem Veterans edged past Curtorim Veterans 3-2 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the 2nd all Goa late Clement Memorial Veterans football tournament, organised by Youth of Fatrade, at Varca SC ground, on Saturday.
Both the teams failed to find the net in regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Francisco, Victor, Joao and Santano scored for Nuvem Veterans while Roberto and Honorato scored for Curtorim Veterans.
Roberto Fernandes of Curtorim Veterans was adjudged as man-of-the-match.
