PANJIM: Commandant IRBN Ezilda F D’ Souza convened a meeting with Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs) and Police Inspectors of IRBn to emphasize the importance of guard duties. The meeting stressed the need for regular, strict guard checking and compliance, a statement from police said.

During the meeting, Commandant Ezilda directed officers to brief guards on their duties, including proper compliments, weapons handling, areas of responsibility, turnout, and other essential aspects of their role.
Following the meeting, an inspection of various VIP guards was conducted.
The inspection aimed to assess the guards’ preparedness and adherence to protocols, demonstrating the Police Department’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of VIPs and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
