According to Vasco police, they received a call at about 5.55 am stating that a man was found dead at vegetable market Vasco. Police rushed to the spot and found the man, suspected to be in his early forties, lying dead with head injuries. The police shifted the body to GMC morgue in Bambolim.
The police suspect that it could be a hit-and-run case and going by the injuries on the body, the police believe that a four-wheeler was involved.
