The first meeting of Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho with taxi operators will be held on December 26 or 27, 2022, barely a week before flight operations begin at Manohar International Airport at Mopa. The flights at Mopa are set to being on January 5, 2023.
Even if the taxi operators agree to join the government taxi app service will seven days be enough for the taxi operators to learn the ropes, a question which hangs over the transportation network to be established at Mopa airport. The taxi app item was not brought before the Cabinet on Wednesday.

Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho has declared that the Taxi App created by the government is a good one & stated that the government would meet with the taxi operators before placing the issue before the Goa Cabinet. Godinho also said there will be a choice of modes of transport at Mopa including yellow black taxis.
