PANJIM: In 2013, when Shweta Kamath, 34, was admitted in a private hospital after coming out of ‘coma’, the super speciality private hospital in Margao had informed her parents that she would not survive for many years.
Later her family learnt about ‘stem cell therapy’ in Mumbai, Shweta underwent it and a month and a half later is living a new life.
On July 6 2015, Shweta underwent stem cell therapy in a Mumbai hospital and since then she has gained new movement and is moving in a positive direction.
“Post stem cell therapy, Shweta has come out from her shell and has started taking interest in regular household activities. She has become a little independent for her daily activities and her social participation and interaction is continuously improving,” said Ameya.
A month and a half after the treatment, Shweta and her family are living with new hope.
