MAPUSA: St Joseph High School, Arpora clinched eight medals in total as they excelled at the State Boxing championship organised by Goa Boxing Association, in Peddem, here, recently.
Rajan Das, Tanti Izarudin Sheikh, Ashok Patil, Ishwar Pujar and Jrina Dum Dum won the gold medals while Rohan Salgaonkar, Mehendi Sheikh and Sonia Kisputta won the silver medals.
Students were trained by SAG coach Vishwanath Govekar under the guidance of physical education teacher Amarnath Kolwalkar.
The Headmistress Lona Da Silva and manager Fr. Urbano Menezes congratulated the winning boxers.
