Vehicle skids off road,25 military men injured

Twenty-five military men sustained minor injuries after the vehicle in which they were traveling skidded off the road and fell on its side at Kadamba Plateau, in the early hours on Monday.
According to information available, the military men were traveling from Panjim to Ponda via the Merces by-pass road and on reaching an intersection, where one road leads to Milagrincho Khuris, the vehicle skidded off the road due to wet conditions on account of rain, and fell on its side.
Old Goa police got the information of the mishap at around 5.35 am and went to the site and conducted inspection. The injured men were later shifted to the GMC and treated for minor injuries. All the men were later discharged.
