RAIA: Nuvem Veterans edged past Mitra Veterans 6-5 via tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of 10th Fatorda Veterans football tournament organised by Fatorda Veterans, at Don Bosco ground, Fatorda, on Sunday.
Both teams remained 1-1 draw at full time.
Vincent Fernandes opened the scoreline for Nuvem, while Navil Araujo equalised for Mitra Veterans through a penalty shoot-out.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Nuvem Veterans proved to be the better shooters.
Jamson Noronha popularly known as Abel of Nuvem Veterans was presented the man-of-the-match by Joaquim
Fernandes.
