MAPUSA: Our Lady of Mount Carmel High School Arambol got the better of Loyola High School Margao 4-2 via the tie-breaker in the U-14 boys Subroto Mukherjee Football State final, at Duler stadium, Mapusa.
After Wednesday’s win, the Arambol school has booked their ticket for the Delhi League which is scheduled to start on August 20.
It was Cladwin Rodrigues who gave the lead for the Arambol school in the first session of play.
On crossing over, Loyola school came with renewed ideas and leveled terms through a neat placement by Ashnoy Gomes.
With the match ending in a 1-1 draw the penalty shoot-out was enforced where only one player scored on target for Loyola school while 3 players converted their kicks for the Arambol school.
