PONDA: Ponda police recovered the body of Usgao missing boy Rakesh Kumar (16) floating in Occamb river, Dharbandora on Thursday.
The postmortem report revealed that death occurred due to drowning.
According to police, Rakesh Kumar accompanied by one of his friend s had gone to take bath in Occamb River on December 2 evening.
However Rakesh Kumar drowned while taking bath. Thereafter his friend frightened and confused returned home but did not reveal the drowning incident to his relatives.
Since Rakesh did not return home, his relatives filed a missing complaint with Ponda police on December 3.
