BICHOLIM: Gold chain worth about Rs 20,000 was stolen from a jewellery shop at Bicholim on Wednesday.
Police said a woman entered the jewellery shop belonging to Jayesh Vernekar at Bicholim market and while looking at gold chains displayed by the owner, decamped with a chain worth about Rs 20,000 taking advantage of the rush.
When the shop owner realized that one of the chains was missing, he alerted Bicholim Police. The shop owner submitted the video clip of the day.
According to sources, police are on the lookout for the woman.
