PANJIM, DEC 21(HSR) — St. Savio’s SC, Calangute overcame Milagres SC 6-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the finals of 5th Pio Jose Gouveia memorial soccer at Colvale church ground on Tuesday.The teams were locked 1-1 at full time.
Norwin Pontes put Milagres ahead in the 60th minute. Calangute’s Samir Chodankar levelled eight minutes later.
In the tie-breaker, Calangute scored through Bruno, Rajkumar, Joachim, Sarvanand and Alber while Anup, Joalan and Norwin shot on target for Milagres.
