Ponda Joint Mamlatdar who is Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO) Biku Gawas said the tribals enjoyed the hour-long demonstration on “How to Vote For Their Candidate of Choice” and are eagerly waiting to vote. There are 21 male and 19 female voters who were enrolled in the poll rolls some time back.
Gawas along with master trainers Shanu Tilve and Suresh Sawant, have conducted a demo on how to vote on the EVMs. These tribals come under Bethora Panchayat .
The programme was held under guidance of Deputy Collector Paresh Faldesai.
