PORVORIM: Mapusa Police finally filed charge sheet in the murder of Nigerian national, Obado Simone, which took place at Parra in October 2013.
In its 250-page charge sheet, Mapusa Police have named 14 persons as accused.
It may be recalled that following the murder of Nigerian at Lobowado-Parra, Nigerians had paralysed the highway at Porvorim for several hours.
Later, police arrested 10 accused who are now in judicial custody.
Those arrested were Surendra Poll, Pravin Mandrekar, Omkar Palyekar, Prayag Palyekar, Prajyot Dabholkar, Sarvesh Govekar, Sagar Naik, Ashish Gaonkar, Rohan Palyekar and Gurudas Nagvekar, while four accused are still absconding.
