ASSOLDA: Margao SC defeated Ugem Rising club 4-3 via the tie-breaker to move into quarter-finals of the 10th All Goa St Anthony Festival Cup Football Tournament organised by St Anthony SC, Assolda, at Assolda Panchayat ground on Friday.
The strikers of both teams lacked sharpness to score as a result both halves remained goalless draw.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Margao SC netted through Savio Quadros, Caven Araujo, John Araujo and Clencio Pinto while Desmond Pereira, Aliston D’Souza and Etalio Gomes scored for Ugem Rising Club.
