PANJIM: Declan D’Costa scoresd a 87th minute equalizing goal for Navelim Sporting Club as they held Dicarpale Sports Club to a 2-2 draw in the Goa Football Association Third Division League played at Mandopa ground, on Thursday.
Reeves Dcosta put Dicarpale ahead in the 8th minute but Navelim equalised through Joe Dias. The firs half score was 1-1.
In the second half, Alroy Moniz put Dicarpale ahead in the 72nd minute but Declan scored the equaliser for Navelim late in the game.
At Poriat ground, Bastora United and Guirim Youth and Cultural Sports Club played out a 2-2 draw with both goals being scored in the second half.
Bastora were first to score through Inacio Menezes in the 48th minute but Rajat Chodankar levelled terms at the hour mark.
Bastora once again took the lead through Viresh Chari but Gabriel Fernandes restored parity for Guirim in the 85th minute.
At Siolim ground, Xetrapal Sports Club and FC Siolim played out a 1-1 draw.
Both goals were scored in the second session. Sandesh Vailanka scored for Xetrapal and Shubham Naik scored the equaliser for Siolim.
Xetrapal were reduced to 10 men after Vikash received his second booking.
At Benaulim, Dando, St Sebastian UC beat UC Benaulim 4-2.
St Sebastian scored through a double from Presley Cardozo and a goal each from Sitroy and Jules.
Keegan and Stallone Fernandes were the scorers for the Benaulim side.
At Bicholim ground, BAFF and FC Sanquelim played out a 1-1 draw.
Omkar Naik scored the first goal for FC Sanquelim in 22nd minute but the joy was short-lived as Sanket Pal made it all square. The half time scores remained 1-1.
In the second half BAFF were reduced to 10 men after Paras was sent off with a direct red.
