MARGAO: Denying all allegations of wrongdoing against the Cavelossim village panchayat, Sarpanch Dixon Vaz said that neither he nor his panchayat has committed any illegal acts.

Addressing reporters, Sarpanch Dixon Vaz condemned Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas’s statements regarding the
issuance of a provisional NOC for a plot.
He clarified that the NOC was granted only after thorough deliberation and careful verification of all necessary documents, adding that the decision was made in agreement with the concerned ward member.
He called on the group led
by Viegas to refrain from misleading the public with unfounded claims.
“They are known for creating such theatrics,” he remarked, expressing frustration over the unfounded claims.
