Goa High Court on Wednesday set aside the order cancelling bail of AAP Goa Chief Amit Palekar. The Ponda court earlier this week had cancelled the bail citing his foreign trips in violation of bail condition.
Adv Nitin Sardesai representing Amit Palekar said that the HC stated that the inference drawn from the order by the Ponda court was highly unwarranted and set it aside. He explained the law if conditions of bail are violated and said this was political vendetta.

Adv Nitin Sardesai said that Palekar’s travelling to other countries did not hamper the investigations in the case in any way. He said now his client is free to travel abroad without asking the court.
