CURCHOREM: Smt CT Naik Higher Secondary School Curchorem, won the Zone IV Higher Secondary School Cricket Championship for boys defeating Damodar Higher Secondary School, Guddi, Paroda by 16 runs at Curchorem SAG Sports Complex on Friday.
CTN elected to bat first and put up a challenging total of 184 for 6 in 20 overs. In reply Damodar Higher Secondary School Guddi Paroda scored 169 for 06 wickets in 20 overs
For CTN Pralhad Naik (24), Deepak Patil, (18), Ruthrik Naik (25), Pratik Naik (30) and Vedant Madgaokar (21) contributed with the bat while for Damodar HSS, Jagdish Patil (91) and Shubham M.B. (15) were the top run getters.
The winners and runners-up teams will now represent Zone IV at the inter-zone to be held at Fatorda in January.
