A pedestrian, Monica Silva, a resident of Sao Jose de Areal, died after being allegedly hit by a two-wheeler near the Bagwati Tiles factory at Mugali-Sao Jose de Areal.
Police identified the rider as Sunil Talwar, a resident of Maina-Curtorim, who was arrested soon after the accident. He was later released on bail.
