MARGAO: In a collision between a scooter and a motorcycle, Roshan Amin Muzawar, a resident of Quepem, lost his life, while the rider Mohammad Sarfaraz, a resident of Housing Board, Margao, and his pillion rider, Mohammad Reyaz, both sustained serious injuries and were admitted to hospital.

According to the police, the incident occurred on December 25, at around 8.45 am, near Paroda. The accused, Sarfaraz, was allegedly riding his scooter in a rash and negligent manner. Upon reaching Paroda, Sarfaraz overtook another vehicle and collided head-on with the oncoming motorcycle. This resulted in grievous injuries to Roshan Amin Muzawar, who later succumbed to his injuries at the South Goa District Hospital, Margao.
