PANJIM: Chhattisgarh scored 189 for 5 on the first day against Goa in the Ranji Trophy match played at Goa Cricket Association Academy, Porvorim, on Friday.
Chhattisgarh won the toss and elected to bat wherein Kaif scored 49 runs (n/o) and Manoj Singh scored 31 runs.
Rishab Tiwari scored 45 runs before he was caught by Sumiran Amonkar while Abhimanyu Chauhan scored 37 runs. Khare (9) and Ashutosh Singh (6) were the other scorers for Chattisgarh.
The goan bowlers did a commendable job as Darshan Misal pick two wickets while Amit Yadav and RR Singh picked a wicket each.
