Sanvordem Fish Market Cleared by PWD; Vendors Appeal for Alternative Livelihoods

The Sanvordem fish market, situated near the Sanvordem bridge, was removed as part of a road encroachment clearance operation conducted by the Public Works Department (PWD), following a directive from the High Court.

The clearance has left many local fish vendors, who relied on the market for their daily income, without a source of livelihood. The vendors have now approached the Sanvordem Panchayat, urging authorities to provide alternative options to sustain their businesses.
