MARGAO: Congress’ Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has requested the State government to repair the stretch of Goa-Belagavi NH4 via Chorla Ghat.
He said several Goans is using the route to visit Belagavi as it is shorter and convenient to travel.
It may be recalled that two months ago Reginaldo in a letter to the government had mentioned about the bad state of the above stretch. However, Reginaldo claimed that neither he has received any reply nor the above damaged road has been repaired till date.
“I keep on receiving messages from Goans travelling to and fro between Goa and Belagavi complaining that the stretch via Chorla Ghat has been in the most dilapidated state after the 2020 monsoon. I would like to remind you that the 15-km stretch on the Goa side of Goa Belagavi NH4 via Chorla Ghat is full of potholes with depressions,” he said.
