CURCHOREM: “Amcho Ekvott” an organisation of residents from Panchwadi collected two truck loads plastic waste in their annual plastic drive held on Friday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. To mark the day, the members collected the plastic waste from around two thousand houses and the street of Capxem-Panchwadi, Dabolim-Shiroda and collected around two truck loads of waste which was later handed over to the panchayat for disposal.
A local Armando Costa said that the residents formed the group to make awareness and guide the residents of the area of various public issues.
