I feel sad to bring to the notice of those concerned that the famous Assolna fish market lies in shambles and poor condition.
What is worrying is the fact that the fish market is situated just below the local panchayat office.
How can the panchayat turn a Nelson eye to what’s happening right below its office.People from all over south Goa come to this market to purchase fresh fish, but sadly the maintenance level is not up to the mark.
Whom should we blame , the authorities or the public in general for this nuisance?
There is dirt everywhere and fisherfolk sell fish in poor condition.
Hope the panchayat and the concerned authorities take up this issue and bring back the charm of Assolna fish market.
