Cuncolim Union shocked United Boys of Dando, Colva 3-2 via the tie-breaker in All-Goa inter-village football tournament organised by United Club of Telaulim at Telaulim panchayat ground on Friday. The teams were goalless at the end of regulation time.
Cuncolim dominated in the first session but were unable to find the target.
Changing over, both teams fought a sea-saw battle and a shot taken by Mahesh of Cuncolim missed the target.
Clyde of United Boys alongwith striker Piety Crasto came very close in taking the lead but Cuncolim goalkeeper Deepak gave no chance to the rampaging striker.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Clyde Nelson scored for United Boys while Savnab, Volney and Leslie were on target for Cuncolim.
