People from different walks of life attended the Annual Satyanarayan Pooja to mark the 24th anniversary of Vishwakamal Travels, as noted travel agency in the city.
Leaders attending the pooja included Home Minister Ravi Naik, Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, South Goa MP Francisco Sardinha, North Goa MP Shripad Naik, Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik, MLAs Deepak Dhavalikar and Mahadev Naik, Ponda Mayor Shailendra Shinkre, Deputy Mayor Vincent Fernandes, GPCC President Subhash Shirodkar, former ministers Luis Alex Cardoz and Shivdas Verenkar, former MLA Mohan Amshekar.
Bureaucrats present at the function included Chairman of Goa Marketing Federation Narayan Naik, Director of Sanjivani Sugar Factory N D Agarwal, OBC Corporation MD Narayan Navti and Director of Agriculture Satish Tendulkar, while others attending the pooja included Councillors Kishore Naik, Sanjay Naik, Venkatesh Naik, ZP Member Manuja Naik, President of Ponda Patrakar Sangh Gokuldas Mulvi and writer Vishnu Wagh.
