Porvorim: Ever since the Highways Authority undertook road hot mixing work of roads at Porvorim during the day, it caused inconvenience to motorists on Friday.
The work in front of the Secretariat’s one-way road which started at 11 am and went on till late afternoon caused terrific traffic congestion from Malim to Sai Circle. Since the road has a slope, it also led to some vehicles breaking down in the middle. Motorists, agitated over the timing of the ongoing work, opined that the work should have been undertaken at night instead.
