Cuncolim Union registered an emphatic 6-5 win over St. Sebastian Sports Club Fatorda, via the penalty shootout to storm into the finals of 3rd Pio Jose Gouveia Memorial Cup all-Goa inter-village football tournament organised by Youth Club of Colvale at Colvale Church grounds on Saturday.
At the regulation time, the teams were tied in a 1-1 draw
Rohan Colaco opened the lead for Cuncolim in the very 1st minute as he fired past Fatorda goalkeeper Terence Barbosa. Vincent Barbosa restored parity in the 20th minute off Chris Barretto.
In the tie-breaker, Rohan, Raghuvir, Ulhas, Saurabh and Paresh were on target for Cuncolim, while Chris Borges, Chris Barretto, Roque and Simon converted for Fatorda..
