CURCHOREM: A huge tree at Curchorem railway station is on the verge of collapse, but the authorities have failed to take note of the huge tree that stands precariously close to the railway station.
The tree does not only pose a danger to property, including the yet-to-be-inaugurated newly-constructed public toilet, but also those in the vicinity and passers-by.
Fearing that it may come crashing down at any moment, as it stands on the edge about 8 to 10 metres above the main road, people have demanded that it be cut down.
