Goa is blessed to be located on the shores of the Arabian sea but it is being fast overtaken by the sea of garbage which we find in the fields, the roads, our springs, our lakes, outside our building societies and what not. Neither the panchayat authorities nor the government is doing anything about it except paying lip service and spouting fancy slogans like
‘Swachh Bharat’ etc. Very soon our pristine Goa is going to drown in this sea of waste unless the sarkar gets serious.
