Ajay Gaude, Director of the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG), has announced plans to draft a new Sports Policy for the state by December 2025.
Currently, Goa operates under the Sports Policy 2009, which has been in effect for nearly 16 years. Gaude emphasized the need to revive and modernize the state’s sports framework to better support athletes and sports development across Goa.
