A tourist, J. Patel, found himself in a tricky situation after driving his car onto Benaulim Beach, where it became stuck in the sand. Patel said that GPS navigation had directed him to the spot, leading to the mishap.
Speaking on the incident, Patel suggested that the government should install clear signboards indicating that vehicles are not allowed on beaches, in order to prevent similar incidents in the future.
