Vijai Sardesai Vows to Halt Coal Transport in Goa if Elected CM

Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai has declared that if he becomes Chief Minister, coal transport in the state will be stopped completely.

Sardesai stressed that the next government must adopt an anti-coal stance, arguing that Goa’s future depends on sustainable development rather than coal-related projects. He further asserted that upcoming elections should be fought on this critical issue, which has long been a point of contention in the state.
