PANJIM: Sportsweek registered a comfortable 100 run victory over Mashem B to advance into the next round of the 34th Nanda J Lolyekar cricket tournament, at Nirakar Maidan Dapot, Mashem, recently.
Mashem B won the toss and elected to field.
Sportsweek scored 178/10 in 33 overs with Ashish Patanekar (46), Venktesh Nevagi (43) and Sujay Kamat (33) putting up important runs. Pritam Chauhan picked up five wickets for 23 runs. Mashem B were bundled out for 78 in 18 overs with Anuj Singh 4/15 doing the damage and was supported by Prashant Lotlikar 2/8.
Maruti Sports Club will take on Polem Cricket Club in the next match on December 13.
