The long pending repair of the dilapidated fishing jetty at Kharewado is finally initiated by the authorities much to the relief of local fishermen. Fisheries Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar assured that while repairs are taken up temporarily the long pending demand for extension of the jetty at Kharewado will be taken up next and also assures to clear pending subsidies.
