Our Lady of Rosary Church, Caranzalem, Welcomes the Relic with Solemn Celebrations

The faithful of Caranzalem are preparing for a spiritually enriching week as Our Lady of Rosary Church hosts the arrival of a revered relic. The program begins on Sunday, September 7, with the solemn reception of the relic at 7:00 pm, followed by an evening of veneration.

On Monday, September 8, the day commenced with a Eucharistic Celebration at 7:30 am, after which the relic remained open for veneration. The highlight of the day was the Feast Mass of the Nativity of Our Lady at 5:00 pm, a celebration of devotion and thanksgiving. Veneration continued until 8:00 pm, allowing parishioners and devotees to spend time in prayer.

The spiritual journey continues on Tuesday, September 9, with veneration and exhibition of the relic after the 8:00 am Mass until 1:00 pm. At 5:00 pm, the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated, followed by the visitation of Our Lady’s statue in families. The evening veneration and exhibition will remain open till 8:00 pm, offering the faithful further opportunity for reflection and devotion.

On the final day, Wednesday, September 10, morning veneration will take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm before the church closes for a short break. The church reopens for evening veneration from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. At 10:00 am, the relic will be ceremoniously sent to the Goa Capuchin Provincial House, Cuncolim, marking the conclusion of its time at Caranzalem.

This sacred occasion is set to bring the parish community together in prayer, reflection, and renewed faith, as they seek blessings through the intercession of Our Lady.
