RAIA: Hosts Navelim Sporting Club moved past Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 6-5 via tie-breaker to enter into the finals of 44th Gold Silver Rolling Trophy football tournament played at Rosary Church ground, Navelim.
Both teams played decent soccer and took time to settle down.
Navelim Sporting Club scored through Travis Souza in the very first minute of play, while Hanshlum Furtado equalised for Don Bosco Oratory in the 32nd minute and remained 1-1 draw till the final whistle.
In the deceive penalty shoot-out, Navelim SC netted through Noah Luis, Sweden Costa, Mohammad Gundar, Sam Pereira and Sherlock Dias, while Francisco Andrade, Hanshlum Furtado, Milson Barreto and Alfred Noronha were on target for Don Bosco Oratory. Hosts Navelim Sporting Club will face Sao Jose de Areal in the final on October 2.
