Two Navy cadets serving as Agniveers killed in Goa bike crash

Two Malayali Agniveer Navy personnel lost their lives in a tragic bike accident in Agassiam, Goa. The deceased have been identified as Harigovind (22), son of Prasanna Kumar from Anizham House, Naduvilemuri, Sooranad North in Kollam, and Vishnu, a native of Kannur.

According to reports, the accident occurred late Tuesday night between Agassiam and the Holy Cross Church in Bambolim. The duo was returning to their base camp after duty when their bike reportedly lost control, hit a roadside divider, and overturned. Both sustained fatal injuries.

Harigovind and Vishnu were on special duty in Goa, having arrived on a Navy ship from the Naval Headquarters in Kochi earlier this week. It was their third year of the four-year Agniveer service.
