Acting on a complaint filed by the Captain of Ports, Chapora, the Anjuna Village Panchayat on Monday carried out an inspection along the riverbank of the Chapora River near the fishing jetty at Dhabolwada, Chapora.
The inspection followed allegations of illegal mud filling along the riverbank, which falls within the jurisdiction of the Anjuna Panchayat.
