GM of a Popular nightlife venue in North Goa: Tourists Created Ruckus After Drinking from Other Tables, Injuries Occurred While Being Escorted Out

The General Manager has clarified that the recent incident at the nightlife venue stemmed from unruly behaviour by a group of tourists who allegedly consumed drinks from other tables and abused the staff when confronted.

He stated that the situation escalated after the tourists were asked to leave the premises. “They created a ruckus after being stopped from taking drinks that didn’t belong to them. When our bouncers escorted them out through a narrow exit, some of them sustained minor injuries,” he explained.

He added that the management cooperated with the authorities and provided CCTV footage to assist in the investigation. “Our priority is the safety of our guests and staff, and we have always maintained strict discipline inside the premises,” he said.

Police are reportedly looking into the matter to ascertain the sequence of events leading to the altercation.
