Navelim SC Edge Past Sao Jose de Areal 8-7 in Tie-Breaker to Reach Bro Eulalio Vaz Memorial Semi-finals

RAIA: Navelim Sporting Club fought back to beat Sao Jose de Areal 8-7 via tie-breaker in the quarter-final to enter the semi-finals of 24th Bro Eulalio Vaz memorial football tournament organised by Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Thursday.
Both teams played end to end contest and Sao Jose de Areal stuck the goal first through Azilton Viegas, while Navelim SC equalised with a beautiful header by Ronaldo Pereira.
As the game progressed, Sao Jose de Areal reduced to 10 men when referee flashed red card to their player.
Both teams remained 1-1 draw at the end of final whistle.
In the deceive penalty kick, Nash Pereira, Ronaldo Pereira, Noah Luis, Swedon Costa, Sherlock Dias, Travis Souza and Sam Pereira were on target for Navelim SC, while Bresal Viegas, Josely Gomes, Aggie Antao, Aryan Carvalho, Mohammad Massuri and David Colaco found the net for Sao Jose de Areal.
