Swift RPF action helps recover mobile

Under the ongoing passenger facilitation initiative “Operation Amanat”, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Post Madgaon, successfully traced and returned a mobile phone to a woman passenger after it accidentally fell onto the railway track at Madgaon station.

According to information received, on November 4, a passenger travelling by the Madgaon Jn.–Mangaluru Central Passenger train realised soon after departure that her mobile phone had slipped and fallen onto the tracks below the platform.

She immediately contacted the RPF Post, Madgaon, seeking assistance. Acting promptly on the information, RPF Constable Omprakash Meena conducted a thorough search beneath the platform area and successfully located the phone.

The passenger was informed about the recovery and requested to return to Madgaon. The mobile phone was handed over after verification procedures.
