No Evidence Yet in Pooja Naik Allegations; Inquiry Ongoing, Says SP Rahul Gupta

The Crime Branch has said that no corroborative evidence has been found so far in connection with the allegations made by Pooja Naik, though an inquiry is still underway.

Speaking to the media, Superintendent of Police (Crime Branch) Rahul Gupta stated, “We have 14 days’ time to complete the inquiry into the allegations made by Pooja Naik. So far, no corroborative evidence has emerged.”

Gupta added that while Pooja Naik had alleged that money exchanged hands in a flat, the owner of the flat has denied her claims during questioning.

Officials said further verification and evidence collection are in progress, and the investigation will continue within the timeframe stipulated for the inquiry.
