A day after Rohini Acharya’s explosive outburst and her announcement to sever ties with the family, the turmoil inside the Lalu Prasad Yadav household deepened. Three more daughters of the RJD chief — Rajlakshmi, Ragini and Chanda — left the family’s Patna residence with their children and travelled to Delhi, signalling an escalating rift within Bihar’s most influential political family.
Rohini, who quit politics after the RJD’s humiliating election defeat, alleged she was abused, nearly attacked with a slipper and wrongly accused of “taking crores” despite donating a kidney to her father. She held Tejashwi Yadav’s close aides Sanjay Yadav and Rameez responsible. Neither has responded so far.
