A woman narrowly escaped serious injury after being attacked by an unidentified thief during a late-night burglary at Comba in the early hours of Thursday.
According to sources, the incident occurred around 2.30 am when the accused allegedly broke into a house and assaulted the woman, attacking her on the neck with a knife. After the attack, the intruder fled the scene with a laptop and a mobile phone.

Despite the assault, the woman managed to escape and ran behind the house to save herself. She is said to have narrowly avoided grievous injuries.
