Kerala Students Hospitalised After Suspected Food Poisoning at Baga

At least 16 college students from Kerala were admitted to hospital following suspected food poisoning during a visit to Baga Beach in North Goa. Sources said the students were part of a larger group of around 50 who were holidaying in the state. The affected students reportedly experienced vomiting and stomach-related issues after consuming food, including idli and sambar, at a local eatery near the beach. They were quickly shifted to the North Goa District Hospital for treatment. Doctors said the students are under observation and their condition remains stable. Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident and are gathering details as part of an ongoing assessment.
