Travelling between India’s IT capital, Bengaluru, and Goa is set to become significantly easier with the introduction of a new Vande Bharat Express service connecting the two destinations.
According to sources, the semi-high-speed train will complete the journey in approximately 13 hours, excluding unforeseen delays. The proposed service is expected to operate from Yesvantpur in Bengaluru to Margao in Goa, improving connectivity between the two popular hubs.
The train is likely to depart from Yesvantpur at 6:05 am and arrive at Madgaon by 7:15 pm. In addition, the service is also expected to pass through Mangaluru railway station, enhancing regional rail links.
An official announcement regarding the launch will be made once the Railway Board grants formal clearance for the new service.
